This Privacy Policy explains how PE “Design studio Bambuk” (“Bambuk”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit bambukstudio.com (the “Website”) or contact us.

1. Who we are

The data controller is PE “Design studio Bambuk”, EDRPOU code 34368732, registered at 5/27 Schurata Street, Lviv, 79059, Ukraine. For any privacy question, write to welcome@bambukstudio.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Data you give us: your name, email, phone, company, and the project details you send through our forms or by email.
  • Data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referral source and time on site, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Cookies. When you first visit the Website, a banner informs you that we use cookies. We use necessary cookies to keep the site working, and analytics cookies from Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, up to 14 months) and Hotjar (_hjSessionUser_*, _hjSession_*, up to 12 months) to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s Opt-out Browser Add-on and of Hotjar via the opt-out option on Hotjar’s website.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • Answering your inquiry and preparing a proposal — steps before a contract at your request; our legitimate interest.
  • Delivering services under a signed contract — performance of a contract.
  • Website analytics and improvement — our legitimate interest; you can object at any time via your browser settings or the Google Analytics and Hotjar opt-outs (see “Cookies” in section 2).
  • Keeping business and accounting records — legal obligation.
  • Protecting the Website against misuse — our legitimate interest.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers who help us run the studio: Hosting Ukraine (website hosting), Google Analytics and Hotjar (website analytics). They process data on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations. We may disclose data if the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Some providers are located outside Ukraine and the EEA, for example in the USA. When data leaves the EEA, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

6. How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 2 years after our last contact.
  • Client project data: for the contract term plus the period required by tax and accounting law.
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. Write to welcome@bambukstudio.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, if you are in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and trusted providers to protect your data. No online transfer is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
